Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru has marked the start of the festive season with its annual cake mixing ceremony. Guests, the hotel’s leadership, its culinary team and friends of the hotel gathered to take part in a tradition that, for many, signals that Christmas is on its way.
Wearing aprons, gloves and Santa hats, they mixed a generous pile of dried fruits, nuts, candied peel and spices, soaked in spirits and juices. The mixture will now be left to mature so the flavours can deepen, before the culinary team turns it into the hotel’s traditional Christmas cake.

“The magic of Christmas lies in the little moments that bring us closer,” says Biswajit Chakraborty of Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru. “There is something truly special about preparing for Christmas long before it arrives, with every ingredient adding its own flavour to the celebrations ahead.”
The hotel says festive dining, Christmas celebrations and staycations will follow in the weeks ahead.
