Recipe from Yam Bahadur Thapa, Asian Sous Chef, Brigade Hospitality
Ingredients:
- Red apple – 4nos
- Walnuts chopped – 100gm
- Brown sugar – 100gm
- Almonds – 100gms
- Cardamom/elaichi powder – 1tsp
- Butter – 20gm
Method:
- Scoop the apple and make a hole, keep it aside.
- Mix all the ingredients – walnuts, almond, brown sugar, cardamom powder together and stuff in the apple gently without breaking the apple
- Take a baking tray and add some water and in double boiler method, place stuffed apple gently
- Topped it with some butter and bake it for 160* C for 20minutes
- Serve hot or cold
