Backpain is one of the most common problem nowadays.
But have you ever stopped to wonder, what is the main cause of it? There are a lot of misconceptions in medical field regarding the main problem of back pain. A lot of people think that mobility, that is, spine movement, had to be dealt first. Due to lack of knowledge from professional therapists, many people usually rely on spine movement exercises to cure their back pain.
These exercises may benefit some but for most these will trigger the pain even more. The main problem of back pain is usually the too much movement of spine. It occurs due to instability caused by long hours of sitting in one position.
When we sit in one position, where does our whole body pressure go? Some might say, the spine. But is it the only area affected? Think about it.
What about the bunch of muscles which are wrapped around out spine like a corset. If the corset becomes too loose, will our spine be able to sustain a position. Obviously not. So what occurs when the spine isn’t getting enough muscle support is the pain.
We think that taking doses of calcium pills and tablets will cure this pain. We think about strengthening our spine.
But what about strengthening our loose supporting muscles? which usually become the main cause of back pain. We don’t take enough protein for muscle building and their tightening. In the same way we don’t do any exercises for out supporting muscles. This applies especially to women, whose muscle loss occurs every month due to periods. This not only causes back pain but also increases body fat.
So we must take sufficient amount of protein which can help us to increase our muscle mass and tone them as well as reduce our body fat.
Diet plays a crucial role in all this. With the right amount protein and micronutrients in our diet along with the right exercises, we can defeat the back pain and improve our health.
