Dubai’s leading dining destination is set to celebrate the month-long culinary movement across eight of its restaurants.

9th January, 2024: Atlantis Dubai, which has firmly established itself as one of the most recognised dining destinations in the world, is celebrating Veganuary across two of its iconic resorts, Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal. Ever since its inception in 2014, Veganuary has inspired millions of people across the globe to embrace mindful dining habits with a plant-based diet. So, whether it’s kicking off a New Year’s resolution or trying out a new diet, Atlantis Dubai invites guests to enjoy a wide variety of vegan dishes and specially curated à la carte offerings throughout the month of January.

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

To go green this January, the one Michelin star Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, will be offering an indulgent vegan menu inspired by Britain’s illustrious gastronomic past. A special three-course vegan menu will be on offer, including innovative dishes such as Truffle with mushroom parfait and grilled bread (c. 1500), Roast cauliflower (c. 1661), and Bohemian cake (c. 1648).

La Mar by Gastón Acurio

During January, La Mar by Gastón Acurio, acclaimed chef who has been celebrated for elevating Peruvian cuisine to international acclaim, invites guests to partake in the annual Veganuary movement and savour a delightful plant-based set menu for AED 350 per person. To start, guests can look forward to a delicious range of hot and cold appetisers, including ceviche tomatoes, asparagus tiradito with black truffle and almond leche de tigre as well as Zanahoria a la brasa with baby carrots, followed by grilled cauliflower quinoa and aji Amarillo sauce, for the main event. To finish on a sweet note, guests can indulge in an irresistible pistachio mousse lemon cake with raspberry sorbet.

Ling Ling

For those who are after a vegan dining experience in a sophisticated setting, look no further than Ling Ling, Dubai’s newest and most stylish dining and nightlife experience. Through its dedicated vegan offerings packed with innovative plant-based contemporary Asian dishes, guests will be spoilt for choice. For appetisers, diners can choose from an array of hot dishes, dim sum, salads, temaki as well as king oyster mushroom and asparagus skewer cooked on a traditional robata grill. With a choice of three vegan main dishes, such as Truffle XO hand cut noodle with hon shimeji, okra and eggplant; Singaporean vegetable fried rice with curry, crispy rice cracker, and coal roasted cauliflower with green curry and crispy shallot, diners can enjoy a range of exotic flavours.

Dubai’s favourite Spanish restaurant, Jaleo by José Andrés, has curated a delectable plant-based à la carte menu with a Spanish twist in celebration of Veganuary. Diners will be able to enjoy a range of vegan dishes, including the hearty chilled Spanish soup with marcona almonds, sherry, vinegar and extra virgin olive oil, moreish Canary-island style wrinkled potatoes with mojo verde sauce, and crispy Fried padron peppers with José’s much-loved potato chips.

Gastronomy

Gastronomy, Atlantis The Royal’s gourmet dining hall, is sure to entice Veganuary diners with a lavish dinner spread which includes an extensive array of plant-based dishes. From beloved Western classics to exotic Southeast Asian delicacies and mouthwatering Arabic fare, Gastronomy is catering to diverse palates this Veganuary.  The gourmet dining hall has upped its vegan game with a host of additions across its multiple counters serving international delights. While the grill serves up vegan wellington, beetroot steak, and corn chowder, ‘Seven Seas’, the seafood section offers flavourful soy-based ‘zalmon’ nigiri and ‘no-tuna’ spicy tuna rolls, which are amazing substitutes for their seafood-based counterparts. The Veganuary dinner service will tanatilise taste buds with tongue-tingling dishes such as noodles with vegan broths and plant-based proteins, vegan dim sum, plant-based Indian samosa, and vegan pizza that leave one craving for more.
