August 26, 2020: The festival season is upon us, and it begins with Ganesh Chaturthi – the auspicious day that marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, also known as ‘Siddhi Vinayak’ or the bestower of desired achievements and enlightenment. While the elaborate festivities that usually surround the arrival of Ganapati Bappa has given way to a more intimate celebration, the intend and the enthusiasm remains the same.
It is this aspect that Kalyan Jewellers showcased in its hyper-local Ganesh Chaturthi video campaign. The video features the brand’s regional brand ambassador and Marathi movie actor Pooja Sawant, in an intimate at-home Ganapati Poojan setting. This campaign conceptualizes the ritual of preparing ‘modak’ as an offering to Lord Ganesha during the daily aarti.
Pooja Sawant appears in a traditional attire, adorning jewellery from Kalyan Jewellers’ Muhurat Collection. The exquisite choker with its Goddess Saraswati motif and matching ornate jumkas add to the auspiciousness of the setting. She completes the look with a Putli haar and gold tode bangles.
The campaign video is currently being promoted on Kalyan Jewellers’ digital platforms.
