The Daily Brunch is a luxury travel, hospitality and lifestyle publication from India, sharing stories about hotels, restaurants, chefs and destinations in India and around the world. It began in 2016 with a simple belief: the most memorable stories about travel, food and hospitality are told through the people behind them. Ten years on, that belief still shapes everything we publish. Here is what The Daily Brunch is, how it began and where to start reading.

Where it began
The Daily Brunch started as an independent publication with a curiosity about the places we stay, the meals we remember and the people who make them special. Our tagline, Conversations That Inspire, came from that idea. Rather than simply announcing a new hotel or menu, we wanted to tell the story of the general manager who opened it, the chef who cooked it and the traveller who found it.

What we cover today
Over the years, The Daily Brunch has grown into a home for luxury travel and hospitality stories from India and beyond.
Luxury hotels and new openings. We follow hotel openings, signings and leadership news across India, and keep a running guide to new luxury hotels in India. Browse more in Travel and Hospitality.
Restaurants and chefs. New restaurants, menus, brunches and festive feasts, along with the chefs behind them, in Food and Chef’s Chronicle.
Travel and destinations. Getaways close to home and destinations around the world, from Rajasthan’s palace hotels to new experiences in Europe and the Middle East.
Lifestyle. Watches, design, culture and the finer details of everyday living, in Lifestyle.
How we tell stories
Every story on The Daily Brunch is written by our team. When hotels, restaurants and tourism boards share news with us, we turn it into an original story for our readers, and we credit the images they provide. Our regular formats include TDB Exclusives, our original features and first looks; In Conversation, interviews with the people shaping hospitality; Chef’s Chronicle; and our guides.

Ten years on
In 2026, The Daily Brunch celebrates ten years and thousands of published stories. Along the way we have covered hotel groups such as Taj and IHCL, Marriott International, Mandarin Oriental, ITC Hotels and Hilton, destinations from New York City to Czechia and Bahrain, and cultural moments from the Mumbai LitFest to the Mahindra Blues Festival. What has not changed is our focus on people, places and good conversations.
