Udaipur remains one of India’s favourite places to get married, and Essentia Hotels & Resorts is positioning its Udaipur resort as a base for weddings of every size, from intimate sangeets to receptions for more than 1,000 guests.
The location
Essentia Luxury Resort & Spa sits in the hills near Goverdhan Vilas, about 22 km from Maharana Pratap Airport. It is quiet and green, yet close enough for guests to visit the City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake and Ambrai Ghat between celebrations.
Rooms and facilities
The resort has 181 rooms and suites, so most wedding guests can stay on site. There are three restaurants and an open-air pool deck, outdoor yoga in the gardens and a kids’ zone for younger guests.
Six event spaces
The resort offers six venues for wedding events, including pillarless grand ballrooms with chandeliers and the Gulmohar Lawns, which look out over the hills. Together they can host every ritual across a multi-day wedding, with space for décor to be designed around each event.
