Bangalore, 25th February 2020: Brigade Gateway Campus, one of the leading hubs that boasts of Residential, Corporate, Retail, Hospitality and Healthcare facilities recently celebrated the 9th Annual BG Fest that saw participation from about 3,000 residents who are residing at Brigade Gateway’s residential complex. The BG fest celebrates community living that showcases diverse cultures & traditions from various regions of India as well as of other countries making it celebration of world culture.
At the two day festival, the residents took part in big numbers who brought alive various shades of community living including drawing, painting for the kids besides many exciting fun games; karaoke for the adults and senior citizens, dance performances ranging from Bharatanatyam to break dance and contemporary to fusion, all of it was performed to buoying crowd that welcomed and appreciated each and every act that were performed by people of all age groups over a period of two days.
While day 1 saw residents putting together live acts right from young kids to the elegant elderly ladies, the highlight of the day being an electrifying act by a few Japanese expats women that enthralled the audience and one by the senior citizens. And, day 2 paved way for live singing and dance performances by professionals such as renowned multilingual singer Anuradha Bhatt who was joined by singers Supriya Lohith and Sri Harsha who took the crowd on a journey filled with melodies, chartbusters and foot tapping numbers along with dance performances that held the audience attention through the night.
The two day fest ended on a high note where not only kids, parents, grandparents took part in great numbers but also engaged and entertained one and all displaying great camaraderie through performances, acts and much more. In order to make it a more compelling experience, many food stalls, experience centers by renowned brands such as Amazon Echo, IDFC, OpenHouse among other kept the festival buzzing throughout. What started as an annual cultural event has today become one of country’s most loved and popular residential fests and the next edition will only get bigger and better.
