Orion Malls in Bengaluru have dressed up for the festive season with “Timeless Tradition”, a Ramayana-inspired décor campaign that runs across Orion Mall at Brigade Gateway, Orion Uptown Mall and Orion Avenue Mall. Illuminated pathways, grand arches and themed lighting stretch through the malls and along the lakeside, turning a shopping trip into something closer to a festive outing.

Themed zones to explore

At the heart of the décor are two themed zones inspired by the epic: “Ram Setu – Bridge of Faith” and “Ashok Vatika – Garden of Hope”, where deer and peacock installations sit among greenery and lights. A palace-style gateway welcomes visitors, and lit-up palace façades are reflected in the lake at Brigade Gateway.

Performances still to come

Cultural performances take place on 31 October, leading into Sri Rama Pratiksha on 1 November, which coincides with Karnataka Rajyotsava. The signature stage production tells the story of the Ramayana through theatre, dance, storytelling and lighting. The décor stays up through the festive season, including Deepavali.

“This year, we wanted to create a festive experience that goes beyond décor and becomes a part of the customer’s visit to Orion,” says Sunil Munshi, COO Retail, Brigade Group. “We are sure that families, young people and visitors of all ages will find something to enjoy and take away from the experience.”
