Talking about the initiative, Founder of LXME – Priti Rathi Gupta says, “Since ages, women have held the power to compete and achieve but seldom have we received the right opportunities, encouragement or recognition. However, now times have changed and in every field, in every sphere of life, women can stand tall, shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. UnStereotype is about applauding the women who chose to jump over the fences to explore the vast arena of possibilities without the fear of “log kya kahenge”. It is about inspiring the millions of women who have the potential but are waiting for that one push that would set them on a fulfilling journey of self-discovery.”

Highlighting the association with LXME, DP Singh, Chief Business Officer, SBI Mutual Fund mentions, “Over the years, the role of women in investing has increased. As more and more women become part of the workforce, they also break certain pre-conceived notions and stereotypes. With this partnership, we celebrate the women who have defied all odds and pushed the boundaries of success. ”

UnStereotype teaches women to feel strong and beautiful in their own skin. It teaches them that one can be a mother and a leader, that one must be financially independent, and foster emotions yet hold on to rationality.

LXME is India’s first financial platform for women that supports, educates and encourages women to take independent investing and financial decisions. Recently, Team LXME decided to take a survey focusing on Women, Childhood and Money and ran the survey over 15 days across the country. Last year, LXME had organised an interactive discussion with Women Achievers known as “Girls Just Want To Have Funds” featuring all the badass girl bosses we all love, followed by an open mic.

This year the UnStereotype campaign commences on 5th March 2021.
